JOB DUTIES /
Responsibilities:
:
Will work between the War Room and ICU observing monitors and managing equipment.
:
Tasks are performed accurately, proficiently and in a timely manner.
:
Demonstrates competency in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.
:
Collects, reports and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
:
Admission/dismissals are processed promptly.
:
Preparations are made to get the monitor ready for admission.
:
Answers phone in timely manner.
:
Keep work area neat and orderly.
:
Monitors are cleaned after each use.
:
Timely reporting of equipment malfunction.
:
Always courteous and appropriate use of telephone.
:
Effectively/efficiently utilizes communication equipment.
:
Courteous and respectful when communicating with physicians and staff.
:
Notifies RN promptly of any changes in monitor.
:
Communicates promptly of any changes in monitor.
:
Assures that alarms are activated when appropriate settings and are audible.
:
Perform other duties as assigned.
