RN Qualifications/Duties The Center for Women at Texas Health Denton has a full time opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery/High Risk Antepartum RN.
HOURS:
Basic
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
RN licensure to practice in the state of Texas.
ACLS and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
Intermediate AWHONN Fetal monitoring (EFM) within 12 months of hire Must have 1 year or more current Labor and Delivery, High Risk OB/Antepartum experience as a RN.
Basic computer skills :
computerized charting on EPIC/Care Connect.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility with schedule.
Critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of computer documentation; Good keyboard skills; Working knowledge of the care and management of the patient in the setting Preferred
Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
(to obtain within 3 years of hire) DEPARTMENT:
This is for an 11:
bed LDR with 2:
bed triage/exam rooms.
There are 26:
beds for Postpartum and Antepartum.
The Center for Women is averaging between 170 to 200 deliveries per month.
