Cosentino North America Fabricator (Hand Labor) Job
Summary:
Tends fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Marks all edges that need to be fabricated.
Uses edge codes to mark and ensures the correct edge profile will be made.
Checks and rectifies any bad edge that was made from the machine.
Marks all edges which need to be straight polished using the T20, T30 or V40.
Rectifies edges at the joints having both pieces together.
Verifies all pieces were checked, fabricated and returned to the same cart number and checked in the tracking sheet as complete.
Qualification Requirements:
Education and or
Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mathematical Skills:
Reasoning Ability:
Ability commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
