BSN from Accredited School of Nursing , prefer MSN FHM instructor certification required At least 3 years Women''s services clinical experience including recent L& D experience.
Two (2) years staff development or adult education experience.
Licensed to work as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
Basic CPR, ACLS Strong, positive interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates, communicate, implement and evaluate nursing educational programs both with/without CEUs.
Supports and facilitates communication throughout THR regarding nursing education Maintains, documents and communicates current CPR, licensure, certifications and education requirements and obtains all training and education required by the system, hospital and department.
Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and meet developmental needs.
Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment.
Demonstrates competence in performing priority procedures on all age groups within scope of care.
Participates on interdisciplinary committee for assigned area.
Suggests ways to improve using data and implements improvements.
Holds staff accountable in achieving THR KPIs.
Coaches and corrects those who do not meet standards.
