Job Description Flooring Sales and Design Consultant We offer a base salary, plus commission - including a training bonus after 90 days.
a family-friendly work environment, where you're an integral member of the team but responsible for your own results and earning potential.
be willing to work Saturdays.
pass a background and drug test.
have reliable transportation.
have a cell phone with a hot spot.
have no major violations within the last five years on their driving record.
a self-starter.
personally well organized.
able to create new business.
willing to undergo extensive product and sales training to be become a certified floor and design expert.
a passion for decorating or design (and experience, if possible).
open and flexible work availability, including evenings and Saturdays.
knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn our operating systems.
excellent oral and written communication skills.
time management skills.
Some of the duties and expectations for this position include:
Sell flooring and floor care products, as well as other home decorating items.
Building client relationships.
Networking regularly and working effectively with other store employees.
Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean.
Prospecting for new business.
