Experience:

hospital administrative/admissions experience SKILLS:
Basic computer skills Knowledge of office equipment including copier, fax, multiline phone, etc.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Basic understanding of health insurance benefits.
CHAA Cerfification preferred Exemplary customer service.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Rotating schedule on an as:
needed basis DUTIES:
(basic) Under the direction of the admissions manager, the registrar is responsible for directly interviewing the patient and/or relatives, in a timely and courteous manner, to secure all necessary information to complete the admitting process.
