The Plater I is responsible for electroplating CAD or Zinc on metallic surfaces using multiple processing tanks for cleaning, electroplating, chromating, and stripping customer-supplied parts per multiple specifications.
A day in the life of the Plater Your day begins by finding the jobs that needs to be completed.
Start plating by racking up and cleaning the parts according to the directions that are given in your paperwork.
Place the parts in the tanks for plating, check the dimension, and verify the tolerances according to the paperwork.
Once that's completed, you send the parts to the next operation.
