We are expanding quickly and hiring immediately for the Dispatcher position! Salary:
$15/hr.
This position is an hourly paid, non-exempt position with built in overtime.
Qualified candidates must have the following:
A High School Diploma (or G.
E.
D.
equivalent) Knowledge of Medical Terminology Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work Ability to work shift work on a rotational shift basis Must be able to type at least 40-60wpm The ability to effectively produce quality work performance in a high-paced, high-stress environment Ability to effectively and efficiently take phone calls and radio traffic simultaneously Primary Performance duties might include:
Answering a telephone system of at least 4 lines Collect, enter into computer, and disseminate caller/patient information Communicate with transport crews, supervisors, and administrators via radio, telephone, or text Track medical and non-medical units with the aid of computer software Dispatch units according to standard company policy and procedures Maintain accurate time records for company transport units Answering caller questions related to fees and estimate cost of service Preference will be given to the candidate that:
Has and demonstrates the capacity to be an extremely effective communicator Experience in handling multiple units on the road within a similar discipline Possesses a Medical Terminology vocabulary Possesses a high level of computer proficiency Job Type:
