JOB SUMMARY for Quality Manager in Denton, TX Manages the overall quality system and its resources to meet or exceed customer and internal goals.
Multi-customer focused production environment, with highly diverse, and often, highly Operator dependent value streams.
This role will have the responsibility to understand, execute, edit if necessary, and validate compliance to quality standards as defined by the ISO/IATF and other evolving regulatory/compliance standards.
Leading a multi-shift Team of Quality Engineers, Technicians and Inspectors through quality defect detection, prevention and continuous improvement is critical to success.
While primarily a managerial role, this position will actively lead and participate in various manufacturing initiatives including continuous improvement projects (e.
g.
Kaizen), Corrective Action/8D responses, APQP new product launch, PPAP submissions, customer visits, supplier management activities (including visits), training of skilled personnel, and data analysis to improve quality functions.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively with direct and/or remote resources is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Works closely with peers to successfully implement and deploy customer and internal quality objectives effectively and efficiently.
Manages the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
Coordinates quality control objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality, reliability, and minimize costs.
Manages, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, services, and products.
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality systems and continuous improvement.
Heavy Interaction with customers regarding quality and design issues to reach successful resolutions.
Drives continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives to meet internal and customer expectations with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Responsible for ensuring compliance to ISO/IATF quality systems for multiple sites.
Responsible for APQP activities related for new product launches.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
Experience working with manufacturing MRP/ERP systems.
Advanced PC application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
).
SPC software experience (JMP, Minitab, etc.
).
Strong problem solving and communication (verbal & writing) skills; ability to interface effectively with personnel at all levels, including external customers.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
Hands-on experience with ISO/IATF quality systems.
Six Sigma training highly preferred.
Lean Process understanding preferred.
Strong working knowledge of APQP.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift 25lbs with or without accommodations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
