00 Mon-Fri US Aviation Academy is a FAA Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic school with facilities in Texas and Georgia.
As one of our instructors, you will be shaping the next generation of A&Ps that the industry so desperately needs in a growing and unique school setting.
Job requirements A&P Certification current and valid 3 Years of recent aircraft maintenance experience Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and etc.
Clean driving record Be able to pass a background check Be able to follow school and FAA part 147 procedures and regulations Punctuality Instruct students with varying backgrounds and ages Instruct and control classes of up to 25 students in a shop/lab, hangar, airport and classroom environment Prepare and demonstrate proper aviation tool usage and safety practices Prepare projects, lessons, tests, quizzes and grade May require work outside of normal hours and a flexible schedule Be able to lift 50 pounds, work in and around aircraft in various positions Preferred Instructing experience Advanced sheet metal experience Advanced composite experience Advanced avionics/electrical experience Turbine experience IA certification Salary:
