Position Requirements Must be 21 years old or older High School Diploma Education in a social services field and experience working with teens preferred.
Valid drivers license & clean driving record Must complete background checks required by TDFPS, Department of Public Safety, FBI fingerprinting, and DFPS Central Registry Work Nights, Weekends, and some Holidays Sound judgment and decision-making skills Professional demeanor Physically perform moderate physical activity including:
Stepping backward Grasping Bending at the waist and knees Twisting at the waist Side-stepping Have the ability to shifting direction quickly-180 degrees Must be able to do a reverse lunge Lower 30-50 pounds to the ground Get up and down from the floor You will:
Supervise & positively interact with youth within prescribed boundaries.
Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with a team to provide our residents consistency & structure.
Interact professionally and collaboratively with the youth's family, TDFPS Caseworker, CASA, and attorneys Ensure timely and accurate compliance with documentation about shift and residents Participate in and support agency-wide staff meetings and activities.
Maintain the daily schedule for school, theraputic activities & appointments Assist in the timely fulfillment/execution of goals set forth on each resident's individualized Plans of Service Job Type:
