Job description
Acme Brick Denton Plant a 100 million plus a year production facility for commercial and residential use takes our Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities seriously. We endeavor to comply with all industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations OSHA, MSHA, TCEQ, EPA. We require all of our associates to follow our Safety First Program. To that end, we're seeking an experienced EH&S Coordinator who ensure protocols are followed. The ideal candidate must have good written, and verbal communications skills; bilingual a plus. You must be personable, dependable, organized, and detail oriented. You will need to become knowledgeable of environmental permits to maintain compliance, and documentation. You will conduct safety training for our associates and report problems to the facility manager.
Responsibilities includes the following:
Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises and at mining locations.
Provides project management team with guidance on health and safety and confirm project site fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management. Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures.

Education, experience, and requirements:
EHS degree or 2 years of related experience.
Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA 10-30-hour preferred.
Must be Bi-lingual - Spanish
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $28.00 an hour
