TASCAM Portastudio 424 MK III 4-Track Cassette Recorder - USED in Great Shape I've been buying and selling vintage gear for a long time, and this is the cleanest Tascam of any type that I've personally found. Everything works great. No cleaning needed at all (of course, anything could use EXTRA cleaning, but that's up to you). This was stored in case (not included) for it's whole life and was hardly ever used. It has been tested but not been fully tested (meaning it's not been stress tested for a full day, just regular testing). The Portastudio is in good condition with minor scratches and normal wear from use. This is one of the most advanced 4 track cassette studios ever produced. The high-speed tape option improves the frequency response. It includes dbx noise reduction to reduce high-frequency tape hiss and enhance the overall dynamics of the sound. The audio mixer is very advanced and has many of the features used in professional studios.
